Headquartered in Yorktown, Virginia, our company is a nationally recognized franchise involved in innovative management. We are part of North America's fastest growing make-your-own-wine stores and we help you create and bottle your own high quality wine. In just two short visits to Vintner's Cellar Winery of Yorktown you can create 25 bottles of your favorite wine - no grape stomping necessary. All you do is start your batch in the store and then come back in 6 to 8 weeks to bottle, cork, label, and shrink wrap your wine.

History and Values
The Vintner”s Cellar
concept was initially sparked with a conversation between my wife and I
in February 2006. We wanted to integrate our love and appreciation of
wine and bring that to an experience, something unique &
distinctive, classy, & modern to our home in Yorktown Virginia
. Several months later during the spring of that year the project
finally got underway. Our doors officially opened in historic Yorktown,
in the Kiln Creek Center (next to County Grill), on October 20, 2006.
We created Vintner”s
Cellar as a venue where people can come to enjoy the experience of
creating your own quality wine. We offer quality wines at a great
value. But not only are our customers making a good wine –
they are creating their own quality wine, where they can have personal
pride in crafting what they will enjoy and drink and share. They
initiate the fermentation of the grape juice, and in about 7-8 weeks,
they come back to bottle, cork, and label with custom designs. We have
created an elegant atmosphere that is fun and friendly. We welcome you

We love wine. You may ask why?
We love wine because of how it tastes, how it makes us feel, and what
it makes us think about. We enjoy the experience with all of the
senses: hearing the cork pop out of the bottle, the different aromas,
the rich beautiful colors, and the way it touches your tongue.
Ultimately, how it makes us feel. Our juices come from all over the
world. We often imagine where the grapes are grown, what the weather
was like, the time period, and it's history. It connects us to who we
are, our memories, while creating new ones.
We want to encourage and
promote bringing people into the lifestyle of enjoying wine. We enjoy
educating people in all levels of the wine experience, on the art of
making and appreciating wine. We also believe wine is for everybody,
not reserved for any class or culture. Wine is the oldest drink in the
world. It is a social activity and can evolve into an unique &
distinctive art of appreciation. Our vision is built around people, and
creating an experience they would be delighted to share with their
family and friends
Proprietors
Glenn Parks
Glenn is not new to running a business. He is currently General Manager for Betty's Plumbing and Heating, Inc. Betty's is one of the largest Plumbing and HVAC service companies on the peninsula. After 35 years in the plumbing, heating, electrical and construction fields, he and his wife Jennifer decided they wanted to try a venture that would be fun, exciting, and something they both would enjoy. So, Glenn took all of his skills and experience and turned a regular 2000 sq foot unit into an elegant Tuscan winery atmosphere, with the hope of creating a place for you, your friends, and family to enjoy!
Jennifer Parks
Jennifer has been employed with York County Computer Support Services for 18 years. She and Glenn had been attending wine tastings for some time, and developed an appreciation for the art of making wine. So, instead of opening a vineyard in their back yard, they decided a make-your-own-wine venture was the perfect answer to her hopes and dreams. She combined her love of decorating with her love of wine, and assisted Glenn with creating the perfect Tuscan winery atmosphere.
